The Story Behind BYG

Build Your Game first began in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, where Josh was playing at 19 years old.

Through his experiences growing up in a small town in New Zealand and now competing around the world, Josh quickly learned the true value of receiving guidance from people who have walked the path. Yet during his travels, he found there was nothing accessible to help younger players who were just as passionate, motivated, and determined as he was at their age.

This realisation sparked an idea which has set Josh on a mission to build a brand that supports younger athletes improve not only on the basketball court but learn the valuable life tools that will help shape their future. After almost a year of testing, trialling, and gathering as much information as possible, he created a tool that does exactly that.

This led to the birth of a brand that transcends the true value of mentorship and goes far beyond the game of basketball, that's BYG.
